hot Hot Summer

Just got back from gold coast.
Here i am, putting on my mask and blogging at the same time.
Tired tired.... But masking is a mUST!

It was a last min decision to gold coast.
i wanted to get a lesportac bag from DFS and baby wanted to do a refund to his nike boots from harbourtown.

Weather is so hot nowadays!
Phew! luckily i am going back SG soon.

Traffic is heavy. Weather is so hot and everyone is heading to the coast for the weekend. i think is time to dye my hair again.
the sun is so burning hot that i am not in the mood to take any pictures at habourtown. Or rather i am busy eating, drinking and shopping to take pictures.

Back in the car, i blast the aircon and continue snapping.

We had dinner at a korean restaurant.

both of our exam had officially ended. *excite*
which mean we are going home soon!!
i miss my mom so so much. last saw my family in feb.
whenever my bf complain abt missing home, i will give him the stare.
cos we last saw his parents in jul when they visited us in brisbane.
hahaha....okok.

he miss home oso cant voice what.

Been studying and studying and during this stressful period, we somehow neglected each other. Though we see each other everyday almost every min. >_<
anyway, we went on a date today.

Buffet for dinner again at the casino.
We love buffet and is really great that both of us enjoy food alot.
In fact, i eat more than him. *kekeke*

We were talking throughout the dinner and came up with 2 different types of people who will go for buffet.
Type 1 - will eat till their money is worthwhile, eat till they sibei full and target super expensive food.
Type 2 - simply enjoy the feel of buffet, eat a variety of everything.

It's dear dear's birthday!
Luke bought him a cake and charissa bought a mooncake :)
anyway, we had a simple cake cutting session since everyone is busy with work, assignments.

Baby and I had a seafood buffet dinner at the conrad. Damn nice! Thinking of it now makes me drool.
There are prawns, oysters, crabs, salmon, and the dessert bar, so yummy!
Blackjacks is the restaurant!
Price is $39.90 and they have a promotion. 2 for 1 between 5pm to 6pm. A pity we miss it. But still, $39.90 for seafood buffet is really worth it. They oso have freeflow of soft drinks. We ate so much that i think we gobbled up almost 3kg of prawns.

and the oysters!!! OH!!!


And there is crayfish too. But isnt that fresh so we didnt ate much. But the prawns are so fresh and jucy and yummy. :)

The very next day, we were seated in the car, waiting for our friends. Our car isnt moving, was parked at the road side and another car kissed us. Not seriously, but still....

It was a lazy lazy sunday. I was so lazy to go out. Stayed home the whole day and i baked cinnamon rolls and prepared kway chup feast!

mini getaway

baby brought me to a mini getaway!
Or shld i say i bring him instead since most of the time i was driving?
Oh wait. He didnt drive AT ALL!!

When we first got the car, he set his first rule.
#1 - NO eating in the car
#2 - No sleeping in the car

Guess what?
He himself broke these rules.
I was driving and he happily munching chocolate chips and cookies.
Since the journey is long, he slept too!

Oh. here it is. There are alot of these 4 legged creatures crawling around the zoo. They are not kept in cage and left loitering abt the park. I was so freaked out!!
Another one right in the middle of the walkway. Baby was turning around looking for me.
Basically, i was stamping my feet loudly!! so the creatures will know someone is coming and they will clear the way for me. :) my brilliant idea! Guess i looked retarded with onlookers staring at me.

At the end of the show, they showed a picture of the crocodile man asking everyone to support and help to continue his dream. Feel so sad seriously. However, theeir show is so much nicer than singapore zoo's. SG shld improve.

We decided to stay over sunshine coast for a night. Due to the sch holidays, prices for hotels and resorts were quite steep and many were fully booked. To make matter worse, many motels were closed already.
But luckily, we managed to find one.... 100 bucks for one nite.
Chez noosa resort motel. Not too bad. Clean enough. Is just that i kept waking up in the night.

the next morning, i was waken up by baby and i got so pek chek that i threw tantrum at him for waking me up. And he replied
"We on honeymoon lei. U still scold me."
I straight away burst into laughters right on the bed with smelly morning breath.

We went to Eumundi market and have yummie snacks againAlmost every getaway is a fishing trip.
We went to a baramundi farm for some fishing.

Not a good day. No catch and the sun is scotching hot.
Lastly, we ended our road trip with sizzling mongolian food.

and so, there goes the mid semester break.
Exam is coming soon which means that I am going back HOME soon!!

A random incident....
Baby and i went to the gym yesterday and we were cycling side by side when he said to me.
"PPle come gym and gets fitter and thinner.
U not only didnt get fitter but fatter." =_=

PS: Can someone help me? I developed a beer belly over this semester break. so so SAd!
